The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris offers a unique opportunity to run through historic landmarks of Paris. The race will take you through some of the capital’s most famous avenues and plazas. It starts on the Champs Elysees and takes you by the Louvre, Place de la Bastille, Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, and you’ll finish near the Arc de Triomphe. This iconic race now draws more than 23,000 international runners from around the world.

Champagne is synonymous with celebration and the good life, and Champagne Tours are a non-stop celebration of great wine and food. Consider extending your package in Paris by one night to join us for a fabulous day of champagne tastings.
On your tour of Champagne, we will enjoy a tasting in Epernay where several prestigious Champagne Houses settled during the 19th century. Here we will learn the history of the men and women who created the Houses and built the grand reputation of “the richest avenue of the World.”
In the afternoon, we will make our way to Côte des Blancs and have lunch in one of the Grand Cru villages of this area while also receiving an intimate view of the complex and fascinating process of marking champagne. After lunch, we will stop for one last tasting at Champagne Dom Caudron before we head back to Paris. (Lunch included)

Race Date: Sunday, April 13, 2025
Race Time: 9:00 AM
Course: Runners will run through many of the city’s famous avenues and plazas, from the foot of the Arc de Triomphe, where the race starts, towards the Place de la Concorde. From the Rue de Rivoli runners will sweep through the Place de la Bastille. After a glimpse of greenery in the Bois de Vincennes, views of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower come into view. There are now more than 23,000 international runners in the marathon.
Temperature: Average temperatures range between 50F and 63F.
Entry Fee: Marathon Tours & Travel, as an official Tour Partner of The Paris Marathon and has a special guaranteed race entry fee. Entry only is not available.
Eligibility: All runners must be at least 21 year of age. In 2024 there were approximately 50,000 registered runners. A medical waiver signed by a physician is required for all runners.
Time Limit: The course time limit is six and a half hours.
Number Pickup: You will need to pick-up your race bib at the Salon du Running (Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles) from Thursday, April 10 through Saturday, April 12. Learn more here. More than 200 exhibitors will be at the Expo and the times are:
- Thursday, April 4 – 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Friday, April 5 – 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Saturday, April 6 – 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Rates: All prices are based on current exchange rates and may change due to currency fluctuations. Pricing is listed per person. Airfares are constantly changing and we can quote you by phone the best available rates and most convenient flights for these packages.
Reservations and Payments: A completed tour application together with an initial deposit of $500 per person must be received before confirming your reservations. Final payment is due on or before February 1, 2025. Final payments received after February 1 will be charged a $50 late payment fee.
Cancellations: All payments, including your deposit, are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Non-transferrable includes applying your balance to another person, another year or another trip. Should you cancel for any reason, you will forfeit your trip investment. Therefore, travel insurance for every trip is highly recommended. All cancellations must be received in writing.
Not included in price: All items not specifically listed under package features. Entry fee is additional.
Insurance: For your protection, trip cancellation, baggage, health and accident insurance is highly recommended for all participants. However, no representation or description of the insurance made by our staff constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the insurance.

Travel Insurance for Canadian ResidentsSecurity Policy: Marathon Tours & Travel’s security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and /or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.
Responsibility: These tours are operated by Marathon Tours, Inc. of Chelsea, MA who acts only as an agent for the passenger to the companies offering such services and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity caused by any reason whatsoever by any party offering such services. All terms and conditions offered are governed by the laws of Massachusetts. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure with a refund, less applicable credit card and processing fees, made as full settlement to the passenger. The right is reserved by Marathon Tours, Inc. to deny acceptance of a booking application by any person. Marathon Tours, Inc. may make any changes or alterations in the itinerary as it deems necessary for the proper handling of the tour. The sole responsibility of any airline used is limited to that set out in the passenger contract evidenced by the ticket. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time that the passengers are not on board their aircraft.

MaryKate joined the Marathon Tours & Travel team after receiving her B.A. in Sport Leadership & Administration from UMass Boston. Prior to completing her degree, MaryKate spent five years as a stewardess in the private yachting industry where she developed strong skills in customer service, travel logistics, and cultural immersion while exploring the world on the high seas. These remarkable years fueled her passion for travel and led her to a new hobby: marathon running. MaryKate has completed multiple marathons including Boston (2022) and Chicago (2023) as well as a variety of ultramarathons including the Comrades Marathon (Back to Back finisher 2018-2019). She also enjoys playing tennis, skiing, swimming, and searching for the best cup of coffee in town. She is excited to bring the knowledge she has gained from these experiences to the team where she will assist in cultivating many unforgettable trips.
