Rates: Air and land prices may change due to currency fluctuations or changes in the tax or fuel surcharges.
Reservations and Payments: A completed tour application together with an initial deposit of $300.00 per person will hold your spot. A second deposit of $300 per person will be due when details are finalized. You will receive notification and will have seven (7) days to confirm or cancel your registration. Until this date, your $300 deposit is fully refundable. After this date, it is non-refundable. Final payment is due before February 15, 2021. Bookings made after February 15, 2021 will require full payment at time of booking.
Cancellations: The initial deposit of $300 is refundable if canceled before your second deposit is due. No refund applies to cancellations after February 15, 2021. All cancellations must be in writing. Airline tickets are non-refundable once ticketed.
Not included in price: All items not specifically listed under tour features. You must secure and pay for your visa to travel to Madagascar. Airfare to Madagascar is additional. Entry fee is $150 additional.
Insurance: Trip cancellation, baggage, health and accident insurance is available on request for residents of the U.S. and Canada and is highly recommended to all participants. Residents from outside the U.S. and Canada must check within your country for availability of insurance coverage.
Responsibility: These tours are operated by Marathon Tours, Inc. of Chelsea, MA who acts only as an agent for the passenger to the companies offering such services and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity caused by any reason whatsoever by any party offering such services. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure with a full refund made as full settlement to the passenger. Marathon Tours, Inc. may make any changes or alterations in the itinerary as it deems necessary for the proper handling of the tour and may refuse any person as a member of the tour. This contract will be governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts. The sole responsibility of any airline used is limited to that set out in the passenger contract evidenced by the ticket. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time that the passengers are not on board their aircraft
