Marathon Tours & Travel’s guaranteed entry for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon is now available to Canadian citizens and members of the Seven Continents Club who reside outside of the United States. Guaranteed entry can only be confirmed when booked with a two (2) night minimum hotel stay at one of our available hotels. (Additional details in the Packages and Rates section)

Registration & Booking Information


  • Any cancellation from the time of booking through April 30, 2021 incur a $20 cancellation fee.
  • Any cancellation from May 1 through July 31 incurs a $40 cancellation fee.
  • Any cancellation from August 1 through August 31 incurs a $60 cancellation fee.
  • Any cancellation on or after September 1 incurs a one nights room and tax cancellation fee

NO SHOWS will be charged the full room and taxes for total dates of the reservation, unless the hotel has a different policy. It is important to notify the hotel directly if you will not make the trip as planned, or if you are delayed and will not arrive as planned. Please check with your hotel for any additional cancellation conditions.

Cancellations are charged per room reserved. Applicable charges will be applied directly to the credit card provided for your hotel room(s). Payments made via check will receive a check refund in the mail less the applicable handling fee.


When booked through Marathon Tours & Travel, the Guaranteed Entry is non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be deferred for future years once confirmed.


Marathon Tours & Travel's security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must have their name on the hotel booking.  If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest the registered guest’s reservation will be forfeited, payment will be due in full and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.
