In 1995, Marathon Tours & Travel created the Antarctica Marathon®️ and Half-Marathon, which generated a new genre of adventure runs. The Antarctica events enabled runners to set and reach the once unthinkable goal of finishing a marathon, half-marathon or ultra-marathon on all seven continents. Pursuantly, the official Seven Continents Club®️ was formed to recognize these runners and to offer special VIP services to international globetrotting distance runners.

The Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM) consists of six of the worlds largest and most renowned marathons: Tokyo, B.A.A. Boston, TCS London, BMW BERLIN-MARATHON, Bank of America Chicago and TCS New York City Marathon. The Sydney Marathon and Cape Town Marathon are current candidates for the AbbottWMM’s.
Seven Continents Club®️
Seven Continents Club®️ (SCC) was founded in 1995 when the inaugural Antarctica Marathon® made it possible for runners to conquer a marathon, half-marathon or ultra-marathon on all of the earth’s seven continents. Since then the SCC has grown and evolved and now serves as our VIP Club providing priority to many races in high demand.
