RACE DATE: March 31, 2018
6:30 AM Ultra-Marathon (56 KM)

COURSE: The Two Ocean’s event is considered one of the world’s most beautiful ultra-marathon’s. The route will be the same as the one used since 2004. Runners will veer off left onto Noordhoek Road (Chapman's Peak Drive) at the foot of Ou Kaapse Weg after passing through Sun Valley, and then head through Noordhoek and Hout Bay to Constantia Nek.
Chapman’s Peak Drive re-opened in December 2003, nearly four years after the scenic road was closed because of dangerous rock falls. The new road includes a number of additional safety features, such as 1560 meters of high energy catch fences and two curved canopy structures totaling 81 meters in length.
An IAAF graded course measurer has certified the route. A sign will mark every kilometer of the route. The course is 56 km (35 miles).
