TCS New York City Marathon

Another excellent tour. This was #5 with MT&T and the weekend did not disappoint. Pre-race communications were clear and timely. The weekend events were perfect. Friday night meet & greet was fun. Saturday dinner was exactly what we needed. Logistics to the start worked as expected; the food bag was a perfect addition. Hotel location also excellent. Thank you Allyson, and everyone else!!

All events before and after the marathon were excellent, it makes things so much easier for all runners. I highly recommend marathon tours. Thank you for the great experience I had in NYC.

I found the planning, preparation and trip to be very well organized with clear communication. I enjoyed the run Central Park on Saturday morning, the pre-race dinner and the bus to the start line was very efficient. I would definitely recommend this tour to others!

Allyson is fantastic to work with! She works hard to make sure everyone is satisfied and always keeps everyone in the loop. I would give her a 10 star if possible.

NYC was the the third trip we have participated in with MTT and you never disappoint. The most important feature in our minds was the transportation to the start line. We heard so many stories of the anxiety and hassle of getting there through public transit (particularly the busses from the ferry to the runner’s village) and you made it so easy. Thanks MTT!!!!

The best thing about the package was that every detail was covered to the highest perfection. Transportation to the start village was wonderful!! I so enjoyed the welcome and pasta party— talking and sharing with other runners. The Sheraton was a perfect location to enjoy NYC. It was really great not having to worry about anything over the weekend except for running the streets of NYC!!

Wow! Pam and I had an amazing time in NYC with Marathon Tours. It was our first trip with the team but it will not be our last! This was my first trip with Marathon Tours and I was extremely impressed. I haven’t stopped raving about you since I got home. Everything was so well planned. It was nice and convenient to have all of the receptions and dinners either in the hotel or so close to the hotel. The hotel itself was very nice and the location was fantastic. The bus ride to the start was flawless and took all of the stress out of getting to the start. All of your staff was so friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would travel with you again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a fantastic trip!

Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the NYC Marathon. Not having run the event previously, it took the stress out of planning and allowed me to focus on running and enjoying the event. The hotel venue was perfect! The location worked well as you could walk to the expo or take mass transit. Central park was close for the morning run. Starbucks in the lobby for coffee needs 🙂 The welcome reception was a nice time to meet fellow runners and socialize. The pre race dinner was a great meal- lots of options and I enjoyed Roger and Kathrine. The coach bus and breakfast box was an AMAZING feature of this trip. Honestly, I had heard many horror stories of people being late to start or missing their wave due to transportation issues- so this was one of the main reasons I signed up for the package.

Everything I’ve come to enjoy about MT — convenience, worry-free, all the details taken care of…so that all I have to do is show up and run.

Well organized and especially liked the worry free transportation to the start village. And matching up of roommates! I’ve made a new friend and running partner for years to come I think! Thank you!

Communication was excellent all the way around and the offering for the money was of good value. I loved this race and the experience with Marathon Tours took away all my travel anxieties and allowed me to focus on the marathon.

The travel package is so well thought out that there is so little to stress about, everything is done and in place for you. The transportation to the expo and race start is a huge incentive, I think that is what I like best.

I liked how everything was organized for me including events that we could attend and having the transportation to the start of the race as part of the package. It took a lot of stress off in worrying about all of those details.

I called the Marathon Tours’ office to inquire about another Major’s Race and spoke with Nicole. She informed me of the VIP Package, as well as the advantages of the Seven Continents Club. She encouraged me to join and take advantage of trip. Before it sold out. I said, thanks and signed up.

HOW WELL ORGANISED IT WAS. The location was great close to everything. Karen and Anna excellent staff tour.

The convenience. We just had to show up and everything was done. Probably the best pre-race pasta dinner that I have had – other than when we booked ourselves a restaurant meal. Staff was very friendly, shuttle to the expo worked out very well, and getting driven to the start line was wonderful.

A world major marathon trip organized by world class runners for runners who are trying to run the world. 🙂

NYC Marathon is one the Marathon Majors. The race is difficult to get us both in at the same time. Marathon Tours offered the guaranteed entries.
