“Experience Chile” Seven (7) Night Package‚Äč

Tuesday, September 4 - Please be sure to plan your flight for a morning arrival at the Santiago International Airport (SCL). Transfer from the airport to Renaissance Hotel is on your own. A taxi is approximately $50 or we can help you book a car service. This afternoon we will leave the hotel at noon for a tour to the Concho y Toro Winery, founded in 1883 with grape varieties from the Bordeaux region in France, they are the largest producer of wines from Latin America and is one of the global leaders. After the winery visit we will return to the Renaissance Hotel for our Welcome Reception. (Dinner included)

Wednesday, September 5Choose between a full-day tour to Valparaiso (#1) or a day of snow skiing in the Chilean Andes (#2). Enjoy exploring Santiago tonight and having dinner on your own. (Breakfast and lunch included)

Tour Options:
#1 Valparaiso is coastal port city that dates back to 1536. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, Valparaiso is a magical place of unforgettable landscapes and colorful neighborhoods.


#2 Just 40km from Santiago is Valle Nevado, the largest winter resort in South America. This is the ideal place to spend a day snow skiing in the Andes Mountains overlooking Santiago. Transfer, guide, lift ticket and ski equipment is included. ($65 upgrade charge)

Thursday, September 6 – Today we will be transferred to the airport for a morning flight to Patagonia. Depending on our flights arrival time, it’s possible we will have time for an afternoon activity. Once we are settled in at the Hotel Rio Serrano we will regroup for a Welcome Reception and Briefing before dinner. (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included)

Friday, September 7 - After breakfast we will depart for a six (6) hour introductory tour of the Torres del Paine National Park. The bus and easy trekking tour will make a number of stops for you to explore the park on foot with your bilingual guides. We will return to Rio Serrano in time for you to relax in the pool and spa area before meeting for our pre-race pasta dinner and race briefing. (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included)

Saturday, September 8 – It’s RACE DAY. After breakfast we will board our buses for a ride to the marathon, half-marathon or 10K starting lines for our late morning start. The finish line is at our hotel where you will be able to freshen up and then join in for our post-race celebration and dinner. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Sunday, September 9 – Recovery day starts with breakfast and is followed by your choice of elective morning activities, lunch and then afternoon elective activities. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Monday, September 10 - After breakfast, we recommend you join our guides for a full-day trek to Base Las Torres, the most iconic activity throughout the park. We approach through Ascencio Valley; the ancient beech forests will lead us to the base of the front moraine (left by the old advance of Torres Glacier), where we will climb to reach the imposing Torres del Paine and its lagoon. Please note, this is a difficult trek that is worth the effort. As an alternative, you can choose from the other elective activities. (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included)

Tuesday, September 11 - Today is departure day. The time of departure flight back to Santiago International Airport (SCL) will be announced at a later date. Return flights from SCL to your home airport should be booked to depart after 8:00 PM. (Breakfast and lunch included)

“Race Weekend” Three (3) Night Package

Thursday, September 6 - Please plan your flight for arrival in to Punta Arenas Airport (PUQ) or Puerto Natales Airport (PNT). Bus transfer from the airport to Hotel Costaustralis in Puerto Natales.

Friday, September 7 – After a buffet breakfast enjoy a day free for leisure activities in Puerto Natales or the surrounding area.  Race kits will be given out at Hotel Costaustralis prior to a special pre-race pasta and salads dinner. (Breakfast and dinner included) 
 
Saturday, September 8 – It’s RACE DAY. After a buffet breakfast you will board a bus for transfer from Hotel Costaustralis to the Marathon start line. The race finish is at Hotel Rio Serrano, where you will be able to relax and cheer for the final runners before transferring back to Hotel Costaustralis. Enjoy a post-race celebration in Puerto Natales with a Patagonian dinner at Hotel Costaustralis. (Breakfast and dinner included)
 
Sunday, September 9 – Today is departure day. After a buffet breakfast you will board a bus for transfer from Hotel Costaustralis to your departure airport. (Breakfast included)
