Rates: Air and land prices may change due to currency fluctuations or changes in the tax or fuel surcharges.
Reservations and Payments: A completed tour application together with an initial deposit of $500.00 per person. Final payment is due before March 15, 2017.
Cancellations: The initial deposit of $500 is refundable if canceled before January 1, 2017. A $500 cancellation fees applies if canceled after December 31, 2016 and before March 15, 2017. No refund applies to cancellations after March 14, 2017. If a substitution is found, only a $500 cancellation fee will be charged. Airline tickets are non-refundable once ticketed.
Not included in price: All items not specifically listed under tour features. A payment of $35 must accompany the visa application. Airfare to Madagascar is additional. Entry fee is $150 additional.
Insurance: Trip cancellation, baggage, health and accident insurance is available on request for residents of the U.S. and Canada and is highly recommended to all participants. Residents from outside the U.S. and Canada must check within your country for availability of insurance coverage.
Responsibility: These tours are operated by Marathon Tours, Inc. of Chelsea, MA who acts only as an agent for the passenger to the companies offering such services and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity caused by any reason whatsoever by any party offering such services. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure with a full refund made as full settlement to the passenger. Marathon Tours, Inc. may make any changes or alterations in the itinerary as it deems necessary for the proper handling of the tour and may refuse any person as a member of the tour. This contract will be governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts. The sole responsibility of any airline used is limited to that set out in the passenger contract evidenced by the ticket. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time that the passengers are not on board their aircraft
