 VISA APPLICATION PROCEDURE You are REQUIRED to get a Brazilian Visa. If you reside in or near one of the following US cities, you can apply for a visa in person at the Brazilian Consulate: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, New York or Houston. More info is available at: http://www.brazilsf.org/other_consulates_eng.htm Fees and requirements change frequently and visa applications should not be submitted until you are within 90 calendar days of departure. However, make sure that you plan at least two weeks in advance to avoid extra fees. You will need to submit: - Completed visa application. Please fill out electronically in the following website (https://scedv.serpro.gov.br ). Once you have completed it, print it out and sign it.
- Your US passport (with 2 blank consecutive pages and 6 months validity)
- Two recent 2X3 color passport photos
- Copy of your roundtrip ticket to Brazil or a print out of the flight itinerary, and a copy of your drivers license. The visa service will give you specific information.
