April 23, 2011 Capetown, South Africa We are pleased to offer one of ultramarathoning's greatest events, the Two Oceans 56K on April 23, 2011 in one of the world's great cities, Cape Town, South Africa. The spectacular course runs from the Atlantic to the Indian Ocean with two long climbs over Chapman's Peak and Constantia Peak. The 56K attracts about 9,000 runners and the 21K hosts another 12,000 half-marathoners. Cape Town offers wide variety of sightseeing opportunities. Visit the Cape of Good Hope during a day trip to the tip of Africa where the mighty Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. Stellenbosch, South Africa's most famous wine appellation, is only a 45-minute drive away. How about cage diving with great white sharks? Kruger National Park in South Africa's northeast corner is famed for some of Africa's the most deluxe game resorts on the private land bordering the national park. The guides can drive through the bush tracking the big five and proving you with a most memorable safari experience.
