The Honolulu Marathon, Hawaii's largest, will celebrate its 41th running with almost 30,000 runners expected to participate. There is also a non-competitive 10K Fun Run/Walk that stats with the marathon, follows the first 6.2 miles of the marathon course and ends at the marathon finish line where participants can wait for their marathon-running friends or family.

For International runners: Enter by May 25 and the fee is $180; May 26 - September 28 $220; September 29 - November 9 $240; November 10 - December 8 is $280.00
All entrants are allowed to finish.
The course starts on Ala Moana Blvd., which means "path by the ocean." The first five miles runs through the commercial part of Waikiki and then heads along the Pacific past Diamond Head through Hawaii Kai and returning back to Kapiolani Park. There is a long gradual hill running past Diamond Head twice.
Expected temperatures range from 70 to 85 degrees. Humidity can be high.
