Big Five Marathon Booking Conditions

 

 

GENERAL CONDITIONS

 

Rates: Land Prices may change due to currency fluctuations or changes in the tax.

Reservations and Payments: A completed tour application together with an initial non-refundable deposit of $1000.00 per person plus any entry fees is due at the time of booking. If joining the extension to Kruger, an additional non-refundable deposit of $500.00 per person is due at time of booking.  Reservations will not be confirmed until a booking form and deposit are received. Final payment is due before March 1, 2015.

Cancellations: The initial deposit of $1000 per person plus the race entry fee of $380 is non-refundable if canceled at any time. The $500 per person for the Kruger Extension is non-refundable. No refund applies to cancellations on or after March 1.


Not included in price: All items not specifically listed under tour features. Entry cost is additional.  If private transfers are needed they are available at an additional cost. Visas are not required by passport holders from the US, Canada or Mexico. Passport holders from other countries must check for specific visa requirements.


Insurance: Insurance: Trip cancellation, baggage, health and accident insurance is available on request for residents of the U.S. and Canada is highly recommended to all participants. Residents from outside the U.S. and Canada must check within your country for availability of insurance coverage. All passengers must produce a certificate of health insurance.

Responsibility: These tours are operated by Marathon Tours, Inc. of Boston, MA who acts only as an agent for the passenger to the companies offering such services and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity caused by any reason whatsoever by any party offering such services. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure with a full refund made as full settlement to the passenger. Marathon Tours, Inc. may make any changes or alterations in the itinerary as it deems necessary for the proper handling of the tour and may refuse any person as a member of the tour. This contract will be governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts. The sole responsibility of any airline used is limited to that set out in the passenger contract evidenced by the ticket. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time that the passengers are not on board their aircraft.
