GENERAL CONDITIONS
Rates: Air and Land Prices may change due to currency fluctuations,
changes in the tax, or changes in the fuel surcharges.
Reservations and Payments: A completed tour application together with a deposit of $400.00 per person must be received before
confirming your reservations. Final payment must be received by February 1, 2009. Payments received after February 1st are subject to a
$25 per person late fee until February 28. Payments received after February 29th are subject to a $50 per person late fee
Cancellations: A $400 per person handling fee will be made if cancellation is received in writing 90 days or more
prior to departure. A $600 per person cancellation fee will be charged if received in writing 61 to 90 days prior to
departure. Cancellations made in writing within 60 days prior to departure are subject to a $600 per person charge plus any
nonrecoverable land package charges. Airline tickets once purchased are non-refundable but may be used for future travel
on that airline within one year.
Changes and Deviations: Upon confirmation any changes made up to 45 days
prior to departure will be assessed a $35 per change fee. Changes made within 45 to 30 days prior to departure will be
assessed a $60 per change fee. A fee of $85 per change will be assessed for changes made under 30 days.
Any passengers deviating from the basic Air or Land program will be assessed a $60 deviation fee.
This fee is in addition to any supplemental costs for changes made to the basic group tour.
Not included in price: All items not specifically listed under tour features. Visa fees are additional.
Insurance: Trip cancellation, baggage, health and accident insurance is available on request
and is highly recommended to all participants.
Responsibility:
These tours are operated by Marathon Tours, Inc. of Boston, MA who acts only as an agent for the passenger to the
companies offering such services and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity caused by
any reason whatsoever by any party offering such services. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure with
a full refund made as full settlement to the passenger. Marathon Tours, Inc. may make any changes or alterations in the
itinerary as it deems necessary for the proper handling of the tour and may refuse any person as a member of the tour.
The sole responsibility of any airline used is limited to that set out in the passenger contract evidenced by the ticket.
The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time that the
passengers are not on board their aircraft.
